Lisa started Charlotte’s Angels in 2008 because Joplin needed a home care agency that actually understood Alzheimer’s, not just a franchise playbook. We are still locally owned. The office is at 501 E 15th St. You interview the caregiver before anyone walks into the house.
Alzheimer’s and dementia care in the home
Families call when repeating questions start, when evenings get harder (sundowning), or when Mom or Dad is not safe alone. Our caregivers help with daily living, companionship, and the extra patience memory care takes, so your loved one can stay at home.
Kim Roy, our COO, is certified as an Alzheimer’s and Dementia Trainer by the Alzheimer’s Association. That training sits with the team, not in a binder at a corporate office.
You interview the caregiver
We match the caregiver to the person, then you meet them. If it is not a fit, we send someone else. Caregivers pass background checks and are bonded.

Joplin and Southwest Missouri, including families in Webb City, Carthage, and Neosho who want in-home Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
How families pay
Private pay, Missouri HCBS Medicaid (Healthy Blue and UnitedHealthcare), long-term care insurance, and VA Aid and Attendance. Call the office and we will talk through what applies.
