Charlotte’s Angels was established in 2008 by Lisa’s vision to bring quality affordable home care to the southwest Missouri area. Since its inception, the Angel Team has grown to over 40 employees providing the very best home care services in the area.
Founder / CEO, Lisa Riesenmy – A native of Joplin Missouri, Lisa founded Charlotte’s Angels in 2008 after seeing the need first hand that Joplin needed a home care agency that understood Alzheimer’s and the progression of the disease. Through Lisa’s direction and leadership she has made Charlotte’s Angels the leader in providing home care services in the SW Missouri Area. Lisa’s passion for helping families who are affected by Alzheimer’s has now become a dedicated Angel Team providing Alzheimer’s Specialty Care .
Nursing Supervisor / LPN, Kim Roy – Kim brings great experience to the Angel Team. Her previous position was Director of Marketing for Omega Hospice. Prior to joining Omega Hospice, Kim worked for Americare as a Director of Nursing for Silver Creek and Arbors Nursing Facility in Joplin. This is where she developed her passion for working with Alzheimer’s patients. Kim’s experience sets the Angel Team apart from other providers and we are very fortunate to have her working with our clients who suffer from Alzheimer’s and dementia. Kim is also certified as a Alzheimer’s and Dementia Trainer by the Alzheimer’s Association.
Nursing Supervisor / BSN, RN, Valerie Box – Valerie brings over 25 years of nursing experience to the Angel Team. A Joplin native, Valerie has worked at St John’s and within the Freeman Health System since graduating from MSSU Department of Nursing. She has a great passion for teaching and caring for seniors in the mental health sector of nursing. Her experience working with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients brings a level of confidence to the Angel Team and its mission to assist those affected with the disease in the SW Missouri area.
Office Coordinator / Scheduler, Christine Fields – Christine has worked in the healthcare field for over 25 years. She began her career working at Willow Crest Hospital in Miami Oklahoma as a mental health technician. Her career took her to working at Silver Creek Assisted Living as a CNA / Med Aid. In 2008 Christine advanced her skills from working in the field as a CNA to overseeing the scheduler position at The Independent Living Center. Christine joined the Angel Team in 2016 and brings great organization to the office and scheduling duties.
