Job: LPN Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Charlotte’s Angels is seeking a career minded individual to join our administrative team as a Nursing Supervisor for our In-Home Caregivers. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of patient evaluation and triage procedures. Display good character towards clients, families and co-workers. Have a passion of understanding for the elderly and sick. Demonstrate good nursing judgment with minimum supervision. Have experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the development and implementation of the plan of care of clients
• Provide field assessments and supervision to In-Home Aides
• Implement company policies, procedures and objectives to our staff members working in the field.
• Provide training support for current aids and new hires
• Manage HIPAA and the compliance policies pertaining to our clients and staff.
• Perform basic patient care and treatments including but not limited to, measure of vital signs, oral medication set-up or administration of prescribed medications in accordance with physician’s care plan, monitor individual care plans as authorized.
• Provide assistance as needed as the business needs change.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate from an approved School of Practical/Vocational Nursing holding a current state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Missouri.

Experience:

• At least one (3) year experience as a practical/vocational nurse in a hospital, nursing home or home care setting within the past year.
