WalkFadeCharlotte’s Angels is proud to be the leader in the area for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care.  Our caregivers are certified in Dementia Care giving family members a peace of mind knowing that their loved one is receiving the best of care.  Charlotte’s Angels helps family members understand the stages of the Alzheimer’s disease through monthly workshops and private family sessions.

 

 

 

 

What Alzheimer’s Specialty Care services do you offer?

  • Companionship & Social Stimulation – keeping the mind active with activities, outings and games
  • Household Assistance – help maintaining the home and keeping up with household chores
  • Personal Care Assistance – dignified help with activities of daily living and hygiene
  • Transportation – rides to appointments, errands and outings as well as travel escort to out of town family events
  • Respite Care – short term assistance to support family caregivers who may need a break or help while out of town or running errands, or when extra support is needed
  • Transitions of Care – short term programs after a hospitalization or medical crisis to ensure a safe return home
  • Supportive Facility Care – providing additional one on one care to assist with special needs in a care facility, or to enhance quality of life by providing a caregiver who can engage the person in activities and ensure well being through personalized care
  • Alzheimer’s Trained Caregivers – who can handle clients who may suffer from paranoia or behavior disturbances, support for Sundowning behavior, sleep disturbances and safety management.  Caregivers are trained under the Dementia Care Professionals Program
  • Geriatric Care Management – providing consultation to loved ones, finding resources, home safety assessments and in-home training to family members
